“19 de Abril” School is a Primary State school located in the city of Dos Hermanas which is only 6 kms far from Seville, the capital city of Andalusia, in the South of Spain. The school is located downtown and most of students belong to lower middle class.
The school is very interested in joining a European project. We are developing a bilingual project so we are really into learning English and knowing about other cultures. Our pupils are young learners, so they are truly eager to do anything in English and motivated as well when it deals with English, even though in lots of cases they do not understand. They are really nice and loving and very very willing to learn English!!!
There are about 600 students who are between 3 and 11 years old and 32 teachers, including the headteacher and the deputy headteacher. We have Pre-primary and Primary educational stages. It will be quite profitable for teachers and students to share experiences with other schools participating in the project. Motivation is the based on which any teaching learning process is supported, so we consider joining a European project could be a great way to keep that motivation alive.
We offer an open door to collaborate on the project so that we can provide you (other participants) with as many rewarding experiences as you can provide us!!!
