Szkoła Podstawowa nr 19 im. Mieszka I
We are a public primary school with 950 students aged 6 to 13 years old and 84 teachers. We take pride of modern and well-equipped with multimedia classrooms and outdoor and indoor playgrounds for sports and after school activities. The school has set on a mission to inspire and motivate our students and many projects are run under the school motto by Horace “It takes courage to be wise”. We offer varied projects regarding interests, skills and level of knowledge to ensure that everyone in our school has the same opportunity to learn.
The school has taken part in many projects concerning culture, safety, health, sports and it can boast of a few certificates of School of Equal Chances, Non-Violent School, Reliable Primary School and We Discover Talents. We take part in a national charity action “A long-distance adoption” and provide funds for education of two African girls. Our students program robots, cooperate with the Polish school in Lithuania and many other schools around Europe thanks to Comenius, Erasmus+ and AIESEC projects.
