It was our first short-term students exchange. We were 2 teachers and two students. Our students enjoyed a lot staying with their host families. The host school organized International sport relief where we could try ourselves in different sporting games , charity and workshops where we could buy Easter crafts made by students from all partner countries . We also had the chance of visiting Seville. We were fascinated by the Seville Cathedral and Alcazar Palace . Torre del oro and Quadelquivir river were the most fascinating places. We had a wonderful week in Seville wih our friends and also our students. Thanks a lot for the great hospitality.
CYPRUS- Peristerona
This time teachers from Poland, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain and Turkey visited Periferiako Demotiko Sxoleio Peristeronas in Peristerona, Cyprus without students as this was a transnational teachers meeting. During our visit we had the chance of taking part in various IT workshops, presenting the works done by our student parliaments. Apart from that, we also did some sightseeing - we visited the city of Larnaca, toured around Peristerona and the capital city Nicosia. We saw an artistic event that included traditional songs, tales and dances of Cyprus, presented by students. We visited the House of Representatives and met Mr. Demetris Demetriou, a member of the Cypriot parliament.
ITALY, Sicily 6-10 November, 2018
We visited Sicily island of Italy. It was great pleasure for us to meet very lovely and friendly local people. Our two students Robin and Emir were hosted by great Italian families. It was worth seeing their good-bye ceremony where they could not help crying.. We could meet our partners and friends from Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Turkey Bulgaria and do a lot of things together. The Italian teachers showed us round their school, nearby villages and local attractions. We visited Palermo and its beautiful churches, we almost learned how to fish in the sea museum and we met a local writer. Most importantly we did many things together: we had art workshops, we played, danced and dined together learning about each other. We appreciate their warm welcome in their lovely city Casteldaccia. Thanks a lot for the unforgettable moments.
Razgrad-Bulgaria 12th-16th March,2018
It was great to be in Razgrad. There were lots of activities for students and teachers.As teachers we could observe lessons in the Spanish school, learn more about each partner country's educational system . We had project meetings during which we evaluated our previous work, discussed next activities and planned the incoming meeting in Turkey. We met a local artist, cooked traditional dishes and visited educational institutions. We were fascinated by the historical city'Veliko Tarnovo'. It was amazing. It was also great experience for us to be able to see the Turkish families living there. Thanks a lot for our Bulgarian partners' warm welcome.
TURKEY,Istanbul, 15-18 May 2018
The second transnational project meeting which took place in Turkey between the 15th and 18th May 2018 focused mainly on summarizing and evaluating the project. 15 participating teachers from Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy did a questionnaire on the school councils and made observations how they progressed, what problems they encountered and what solutions they made. Partners took time to reflect on two-year work, the activities undertaken and drew conclusions. We also started working on the final report, we set up deadlines for completing the report and distributed work among all partners. Our partners visited our school, observed classes and made presentations about their schools and countries to the Turkish students. We also visited the director of national education and the mayor of our district in order to promote about our project. Our partners learned about the Turkish system of education, its challenges and advantages.
