Erasmus+ Transnational Project Meeting
in Szkoła Podstawowa nr 19 im. Mieszka I in Białystok, Poland
Between the 10th October and the 12th October our school hosted nine teachers from Italy, Bulgaria, Spain and Cyprus as part of the realization of the Erasmus+ project.
A three-day visit went by discussing the planned activities and getting to know each other better. The teachers toured our school, greeted our students and also gave them lessons on their countries' culture and geography. Our guests were impressed by how well our school is organized. They liked the fact that everything here has its place – for instance, there are shelves for students' backpacks in the school canteen and parents can wait for their children in a nice „waiting room”. They were suprised by the lack of a school bell.
Since the programme of the visit pivotted around planning and organizing the activities of the project there was little time for sightseeing. However, our guests were able to explore a bit our lovely city Bialystok and also Suprasl with its marvellous Museum of Icons.
