How to make a Christmas’s ornament.
Find a simple Christmas design, print it and cut it out.
Put it on a piece of wood and draw with a pencil its outline.
Use a hammer and place nails on the outline.
Take a piece of thick thread, in any colour you like, and begin to pass it through the nails on the outline and in the inside of the design.
When you fill in the design tie the thread on a nail and cut the rest of it.
Your ornament is ready.

At first each class selected its representatives who had the chance to run a pre-election campaign. Then all the students voted for the members of the new student council. The council prepared its activity schedule for the school year 2017-18.
Food day
We celebrated Food Day by learning and investigating food waste. We conducted a small research in our homes to see whether we dispose a lot of food in the garbage. The results were rather hopeful. Although we discard some food we don’t do it all the time and in large quantities. We presented our research to the whole school and our parents. We created posters to encourage our fellow students not to waste food. We invited a well known Cypriot chef to suggest us ways to storage food and also reuse leftovers so nothing is wasted in our kitchens. We also helped him cook delicious foods with food that was going to be discarded. We invited our parents and grandmothers to the speech.
Visit to the Red Cross
Students of the 6th grade visit the head offices of Cyprus Red Cross and helped prepare ‘Bags of love’ with products that will be given to families in need.
